Newbridge Traditional Farm

Newbridge Traditional Farm is a museum of 19th century rural life installed in the picturesque old buildings around the 18th century courtyard. A 19th century farm was virtually an independent and self supporting entity, labour was cheap and in great supply, animals were kept and crops were grown for food. On display are old breeds of farm animals, the machinery and the farming techniques which were part and parcel of Irish farming life in the last century.
