Rush

Rush is a pretty sea-side town and a centre of market gardening located 26Km north of Dublin City Centre in North County Dublin. At the eastern end of the village Village is a small harbour which was built in the reign of James 2nd. Rush is mentioned by Hollinshed as being one of the chief haven towns of Ireland, and in more recent times was celebrated for its fisheries. The beaches around Rush and the beautiful seascape views of Lambay have long attracted visitors to the area.
