Naul

Fingal’s rural villages offer a slow pace of life and numerous sites of archaeological, architectural and historic interest. Fingal is generally quite flat yet to the north around Naul the land rises to a height of around 170 metres affording panoramic views of the Mourne Mountains to the north and the Wicklow Mountains to the south.

Naul is home to the Seamus Ennis Cultural Centre. Also worth a visit is the Fourknocks Megalithic Tomb which dates from 1800 b.c. and has many of the features of the Boyne Valley tombs.
