Lusk

The Place now known as Lusk can be traced back, through old tales and legends, to at least the last quarter of the first century B.C. It was the site of an important sanctuary dedicated to the Celtic sungod Lugh, and was called Lugh-Lochta Loga.
In the middle of the village is a formidable looking building which includes a round tower housing Lusk Heritage Centre.With a rich and varied landscape Lusk has maintained a unique village atmosphere
